Zahirymar Lassalle-Kamara was born in Puerto Rico and is the youngest of two sisters. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Old Westbury. Kamara has 10 years of teaching experience from Pre-K to 8th grade. She has also worked with the Jewish Child Care Association as an advocate for foster children and their families. When she visits her native Puerto Rico, Kamara spends time with family and friends and fulfills her love of dancing. She also enjoys outdoor activities, warm weather and hopes to travel more in the future. Kamara comes to GCCS from The Goddard School and she is excited to start her new journey here!
