As part of their PYP unit “How the World Works”, 1st grade welcomed The Franklin Institute Traveling Science Show to our school. Mr. David, a real scientist, did fantastic experiments with the help of our 1st grade mini-scientists. Students learned about weather and the water cycle by seeing how water can turn into clouds; it even rained in the media center! Thank you to Mr. David and the Franklin Institute Traveling Science Show for helping our students learn how the world works!
Como parte de su unidad de PYP "Cómo funciona el mundo", el 1er grado dio la bienvenida al Instituto de Franklin: El Espectaculo Científico Viajero a nuestra escuela. El Sr. David, un verdadero científico, hizo experimentos fantásticos con la ayuda de nuestros mini-científicos de primer grado. Los estudiantes aprendieron sobre el clima y el ciclo del agua al ver cómo el agua puede convertirse en nubes.Incluso llovió en el centro de medios! ¡Gracias al Sr. David y al Instituto de Franklin: El Espectaculo Científico Viajero al ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a aprender cómo funciona el mundo!
