Juanita De Castro is a Business Development Manager for Cerascreen BioTech, a German diagnostics company. In her current role she is leading the US expansion of at-home diagnostics testing. Prior to Cerascreen, she managed the Caribbean Market for an industrial supply exporter, where she also spearheaded numerous relief efforts from natural disasters. In her native Colombia, she was Director of International Affairs for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, designing and executing high impact development projects. She also held positions at Bancolombia, the largest bank in Colombia, Aerobrokers, the representatives of Airbus for Latin America and e-NOVVA, the venture capital arm for RCN Television. Juanita earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting Information Systems from Bentley University. She has a Master in Political Science from Universidad de los Andes, in Bogota, and a M.A. in International Administration from the University of Miami. During her time in Miami, she was involved with Pace Center for Girls and Breakthrough Miami where she coached high school kids in financial literacy and career development.
